Omer and Nattey

When Omer saw his conversation about God on his blog, he said he does not like his thoughts to be put on the blogger. So we stopped for a while. But after long negotiations with him, he has agreed to posts the following. He has been using MSN to chat with me for few days. Here's a conversataion he had with Hussain Nashid (Nattey) or Natti as he says it.

"Mamma! Mamma! Hussein has just signed in!" Omer came to his mum in the toilet screaming. When she told him it was Nattey he replied "Oh Ok I'll go and talk to him then"

Where is God?

“I heard you were a very good boy today and you prayed with Dhonbe and Baapa and Ubba.”

“Yes! I did three prayers.”

“Did you pray to thank God or to get more Thomas tracks?”

(thinking for a while)
“To get more Thomas tracks and to thank GOD”

“Ok”

“Mamma, where is God? Is he very far away? Does he live in the forest?”

“God can be anywhere and know anything”

“Is he a boy or a girl?”

“God is not a boy and not a girl.”

“Does he like to play Thomas tracks?”

“Lets go discuss with Bappa too”

On the way to find Bappa something else caught his attention and he wandered off.

So Omer has started to wonder who this God is, where he lives and what sort of things he likes to play with!
